Go ahead, put lipstick on that pig!
Does anyone really believe Obama was referring to Sarah Palin when he made the “lipstick on a pig” comment? We all know the answer to that question is no but the media just can’t help but try to put a sexist spin on these things. Apparently, it’s just irresistible!Yesterday in Virginia, Barack stated “John McCain says he’s all about change too... You can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig."
The only person who has smeared Sarah Palin by referring to her as an animal in lipstick is, Sarah Palin. “You know the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick.”
Relax America, its FUNNY. There are plenty of situations when this expression could be used to insult a woman, but this isn’t one of them. It’s a good thing that America is going through these growing pains. It’s the first time we have a woman and an African American in the ring for the top jobs and its bound to take a little getting used to. Many members of the majority don’t feel comfortable around diversity. Those happy with the status quo are getting pushed around and out of the way. They are bound to throw a few tantrums about it. All I can say is “its about time!”

I'm going to Columbia University but I'm trying to keep that low-profile because I don't want weird people following me there. I want the experience of normal college life.
